Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has earmarked Rs 150 crore for the overall infrastructure development of Biju Patnaik University of Technology [BPUT], as decided in a high level meeting under Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday.

\r\n

Out of the above a Rs 110 Cr would be spent on infra upgradation of the University’s headquarter situated at Rourkela, official source said.

\r\n

Besides, the meeting took note of several other decisions like, to introduce a new course named ‘Urban Planning’ inside BPUT curriculum and to fill up the vacant posts lying in the University.
