Bhubaneswar, 26 May 2015: Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissionerate on Monday evening conducted blocking and simultaneous drive against antisocial elements, drunkards, illicit sale of liquor and violators under the provisions of MV act at various places in the twin city, according to sources.

\r\n

Twelve cases of illicit sale of liquor were detected during the drive. Four anti socials were apprehended, 31 non-bailable warrants [NBWs] executed and two persons blocked under 110 CrPC. 1186 VCRs [Vehicle Check Reports] have been submitted against defaulting drivers and fines realised from them. 167 offences have compounded under OUP [Orissa Urban Police] Act.
