Bhubaneswar, 16/06/2015: Commissionerate police busted a gang of criminals comprising of Engineering and MBA students involved in vehicle lifting and recovered stolen vehicles, fire arms and other incriminating articles.

\r\n

During course of investigation it is ascertained that, a group of veteran motor cycle lifters of Balasore area are involved in this crime. Intensive raids were conducted at different places. Five criminals have been apprehended. A stolen scorpio, along with four other stolen M/Cs, 10 Nos. of mobile phones, one revolver along with 2 live ammunitions have been recovered from their possession.

It has been ascertained that, Arun Mallick who was involved in more than 20 cases in Balasore district, including robbery, dacoity and murder is the gang leader while three other accused persons are engineering and MBA students. They are suspected to have been involved in many other crimes which is under verification.
