Bhubaneswar, 16th Oct : Odisha is eyeing a mammoth Rupees One lakh seventy five thousand crores of investment in coming 4 years, for which necessary steps are on the anvil by the State Government, Chief Secretary Gokul Chandra Pati said during an one day Workshop, organized on Friday in IDCO tower here.

“Investor’s perception about Odisha is crucial for bringing investment to the State. Along with communicating State’s opportunities and potentialities to the world outside we have to implement our progressive policies in a team spirit,” Pati said.

“Implementation of the IPR,2015 with team spirit would further improve the rank of Odisha in ‘ease of doing business’ and will have great positive impact on the investor’s perception,” added Pati.

Various Dimensions of brand building were discussed in the meeting, where Development Commissioner U.N. Behera, Principal Secretary Industry Sanjeeb Chopra, Principal Secretary Water Resources Pradeep Kumar Jena, Principal Secretary, Tourism L.N.Gupta, Principal Secretary Health & Family Welfare Arati Ahuja, Secretary School & Mass Education Ranjana Chopra, Transport Commissioner Dr C.S. Kumar, Secretary Information & Public Relations Manoranjan Panigrahi , Secretary Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disability Saswat Mishra along with experts from international level brand building agency like JWT and senior members from Industry were engaged in the brainstorming exercise over two sessions.
