I maintain my self-dignity as an actress albeit any situation before me : Jhillik Bhattacharjee

Jhillik, now a front-line actress in Ollywood was born in Kolkata. She is a graduate (English Honors) and also completed her Masters degree in Bharat Natyam (western) dance from Shyamak Dabour. The beautiful diva has interest in dance, swimming, playing basket ball, going on for a long-drive, besides passion in fashion designing. Excerpts of Jhilik’s telephonic interview with Sandeep Pattnaik of Ashapradeepnews.com is produced below:

Q.1. In which year you have entered into cinema?
\r\n
A. I had entered the cine industry in 2013.
\r\n
Q.2. The number of films you have done so far….
\r\n
A. I have acted in a dozen of films in both Bengali and Odia. In Bengali, movies like Tomaye Bhalobasi, Classmate, Encounter, Neel Lohit, Amar Ami in which i had a lead role. And in Odia I have acted in Target, Akhire Akhire, Lekhu Lekhu Lekhi Deli, Super Michua, Love you Hamesha and Jaga hatare Pagha, which were my hit films.

A. I Love You-II
\r\n
Q.4. You have given 8 hit-films in a row. To whom do you give credit for that?
\r\n
A. My director, co-actor and all my team members.
\r\n

A. Mahasweta Rai.
\r\n
Q.6. Your Interest apart from movie.
\r\n
A. To be a lawyer in future.
\r\n
Q.7. Do you think, that success in cine industry only depends on sheer labour or anything else?
\r\n
A. I only believe in hard work and that is the way to success.
\r\n
Q.8. But it is a general conception that, one has to face many odds (as heard from quarters), to step up-the-ladder in the glamour industry. Not sheer hard work but some compromises have to be done in many situations (especially for an actress). What is your view?

A. I have not faced any situation like that. I always maintain my self-dignity, whatever the situation may be.
