Bhubaneswar, 11 March 2015: There will be Grievance addressing camps for MSMEs each month to look upon the issues confronted by MSMEs, Chief Secretary Gokul Chandra Pati said during an open house discussion with entrepreneurs on Wednesday here.

Sri Pati has asked Director Industries to compile grievances raised by the entrepreneurs and move concerned departments for quicker redressal. Besides, one OSIC led marketing consortium would be put in place for providing common brand and marketing support to Odisha based MS&MEs. Chief Secretary has also advised to develop MSME clusters as growth centers. Various MEME associations have been requested to participate in the process.

Issues like revival of sick units, procurement by PSUs and large scale industries operating in Odisha from Odisha based MS&MEs, extension of credit guarantee facility to the MS&MEs running in rented premises, revival of OSFC, purchase from local EPM rate contract holders by turn key contract awardees, settlement of pending credit cases as per OTS policy, skill development activities in various MSME clusters, availability of degraded forest for compensatory afforestation, various statutory clearances, establishment of entrepreneur development centers, establishment of incubation centers and common facility centers , raw material entry tax for MS&MEs, establishment of textile park, separate power tariff for MS&MEs etc were discussed in the open house.
